The tie-breaking criteria for the Department of Sports Science Academic Excellence Award were approved by the Department’s Academic Affairs Meeting (held via correspondence) for the 113th Academic Year on June 27, 2025, as follows:
1. Number of required and elective credits taken in the department during the current semester
2. Grade Point Average (GPA) for required courses taken in the department during the current semester
3. Total number of credits earned during the current semester
